Artist - in - Residence
VSGSA Artist-In-Residence program provides studio space and a flexible support structure for emerging artists with
disabilities, or artists wishing to explore aspects of relationship between disability and the Arts.
Terms for the residency program have been established to ensure flexibility with regard to each artist’s individual
requirements, and to provide a stable and supportive environment within which the artist may explore his or her unique
directions in art.
Space: exclusive use of a secure studio with access to available materials (paints, supports, frames, etc) located at the Veith
Street Gallery.
Term: flexible duration ranging from six weeks to four months
Exhibition: opportunity for solo or group exhibition at Veith Street Gallery.
Development: opportunity for critique and discussion through peer and/or curatorial resources as available.
