MIX: INTEGRATING THE VISUAL ARTS INTO ADULT EDUCATION
This program is a new professional development program that explores how the visual
arts can be utilized in diverse adult education practices.
The program will examine both the historical and theoretical perspectives of arts based
adult learning processes. These histories and theories will both inform and compliment
the exploration of art materials and experimental arts based adult education methods.
Participants in this program are required to be presently working in the field of adult
education or engaged in the study of adult education.
CREATIVE SHIFT WORKSHOP
The CREATIVE SHIFT WORKSHOP is a unique professional development program
designed for those working in the human services field and helping professions.
Program participants will engage various art materials and processes, as well as
examine theories in art and health and disability arts.This program uses experiential
learning processes rooted in adult education methods.
PLEASE NOTE: This program is not an art therapy training program.
